The Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency - in Finnish Väylä - is responsible for developing and maintaining the state-owned road network, the railways and the waterways. Through its tasks, which include maintaining the level of service of transport, Väylä promotes wellbeing in society and competitiveness of Finnish industry.

Division Director Mirja Noukka is responsible for Transport Network Planning in the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. Ms. Noukka has been working with planning, maintenance and financing of the Finnish transport network for more than 20 years.
